We want to thank everyone for the great turn out last night. First and foremost we had roughly 100 league members at the meeting last night and 61 managers participate in last night’s vote. Thank you very much for sharing our excitement for the 2019 season. The league has re-elected Jeff Oltmanns and elected Josh Dougherty to serve the board for the next two years. Please take time to congratulate each of them as they hope to serve the league with their best efforts and intentions. We want to especially thank Doug Wagner for his many great years of service to the board and league as treasurer. His service to the league will not be forgotten. Finally thank you to Brad Tyler who took time and effort to run for the board spot. It is really great to see more people interested in being in this position.

As promised last night team placements are tentatively posted. Please view here. As you can see Monday’s is overfull and Tuesday is full. We are offering teams discounts to move up to Wednesday night from a lower night. If you’re interested in hearing more about that, and/or have questions or concerns about team placements please reach out to us sfmsps@gmail.com.

Next month’s managers meeting will be Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at 7PM. The meeting will be moving to BB’s Pub N Grill (3400 W 49th St #102, Sioux Falls). Look forward to seeing you. Please remember to get your player waivers signed and rosters filled out!

  • Team Placement
      • Willing to offer $200 to any Monday or Tuesday team willing to jump to Wednesday, if you’re interested and want to hear more about it, please reach out to the board.
      • Currently 95 teams are signed up thus far, which is ahead of last years pace. Thank you for being prompt and getting involved sooner.
        • We expect to match or exceed the 97 teams we had last year.
        • Currently Monday and Tuesday are full.
        • Wednesday has room and if enough teams join we can split into upper and lower divisions.
        • Thursday currently has 12 teams.
      • We have tentative placement of where teams are going to go, it’ll be posted on the website tomorrow. Again if you have a competitive team and are willing to move up in the competitive ranks, we are discussing team discounts for doing so. Help us create room for newer teams.
  • Tournaments
        • If you have a tournament and its not on the website, please reach out to Jordan to help get that fixed.

  • League Start Dates
    • Thursday is April 25th, 2019
    • Monday is April 29th, 2019
    • Tuesday is April 30th, 2019
    • Wednesday is May 1st, 2019.
  • Rosters and Waivers are online
    • Every player needs to sign a new waiver this year. Please go online and do so as soon as possible to ease the load on the board processing waivers.
    • New transaction screen on the website, every player added, moved, or removed from a team is now tracked on the website.
      • This will also include scoring changes and other league changes as they occur during the season in an attempt to as visible as possible with league business.
      • Player database screen, you should see a plus sign next to every player’s name. Shows what team they played with last year.
        • This information will be expanded upon to show if you won championships, manager of the year awards and otherwise. I hope to go back further as I find time to add in historical information, but I’m one person nerding out on historical information.
      • If you have any questions comments or SUGGESTIONS for this, please let me know I am open to ideas and if I can do it, I will.
